Cupping for quality
As artisan coffee roasters we like to test roast our way through our many different coffees, then with our coffee lab approach and passion it’s important to ‘cup’ our coffees so we know with confidence our product. What is cupping? Cupping is an important tool to evaluate the different characteristics of a particular coffee bean. It makes us look at coffee in its basic form and appreciate some of its finer points. Remember coffee is a crop that changes from farm to farm, region to region, country to country, season to season and crop to crop.
